Lakeside Glimmer is a scene inspired by Moana Rua or Lake Pearson in the Canterbury high country of New Zealand. The lake is a sanctuary habitat for the beautiful Kamana birds (Australasian crested grebe). In autumn the golden leaves of the willow trees brush the lake edges in warmth, complementing the crisp snowy reflections in the tranquil water.
