Echoes of the Past is a scene inspired by Napolean Hill, an 1860s gold mining settlement near Ahaura on the West Coast of New Zealand. Painted to capture how the remaining water race tunnels now glow with soft light, nature reclaiming what was once a struggle, leaving only echoes of determination.
